Dr. Rahat Jarayabhand is a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon specialising in trauma, hip reconstruction, and pelvic and acetabular surgery. Currently serving as the Head of the Orthopaedic Trauma Unit at Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital and a Consultant Orthopaedist at Bangkok International Hospital, he has extensive experience in complex trauma management. He is an executive committee member of the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand and has held key leadership roles in trauma education and international relations. Dr. Rahat completed his medical degree with first-class honors from Chulalongkorn University and underwent advanced training and fellowships in Germany, Japan, and the U.S. His research contributions include studies on minimally invasive plating techniques, 3D printing in trauma surgery, and geriatric fracture management. Recognised for his expertise, he has received prestigious awards for his work in orthopaedic trauma. His dedication to innovation and education continues to shape the future of orthopaedic surgery.
